Jamie Vollmer, Owner
Collaborating with clients and developing solutions are what makes Jamie tick. She finds joy in the intricate details of event logistics and bringing clients fresh ideas. A strong believer that every event needs a touch of whimsy and a clear message, she has been crafting impactful, positive guest experiences for nonprofit clients the last 18 years. First as a freelancer with Carlton Werremeyer, a special events firm serving St. Louis’ premier nonprofits and then starting in 2016 under her own company, Events by Inspire. During the pandemic, she pivoted to include consulting for Geniecast, a virtual experience company, managing global relationships of 15 clients and 20+ events and conferences that featured former presidential candidates and C-suite executives from Fortune 100 companies. In 2023, she was honored to be part of a Focus St. Louis Women in Leadership cohort expanding her perspective and helping her to refocus the direction of EBI.
Today, she is known as a community-focused project manager who thrives in detail to bring vision and values to life. She is highly regarded for thorough event planning and execution, versatile stakeholder engagement, and strategic organizational alignment.

Events produced by EBI are executed by one of the most experienced events teams in the region. This team comprised of extraordinary freelance event professionals brings decades of knowledge from their positions in the nonprofit and event industry.
With more than 50 years’ combined experience in the nonprofit field, our team is uniquely skilled to handle any challenge. Many of us learned our ABC’s (always be calm) from St. Louis’ premier nonprofit planner – Susan Werremeyer. We also bring experiences and insight from working in-house and at times leading prominent local institutions including Grand Center, Urban League of St. Louis, Circus Flora, Rung for Women, Safe Connections, Grace Hill, Easterseals Midwest and St. Louis Public Radio.
